| What is being humble? H stands for Humility - Acting lowly and aknowledging that we need others. A. Matt. 5;5,6 - We need God in our lives and He needs to be first. When you put God first, you will be blessed greatly. B. Galatians 6:2 - We need each other in our lives. When you stop doing all for yourself and more for others you will be greatly enriched. U stands for Unity A. Eph. 4:1 - You need to be in a union with God and stop being selfish and only worrying about your needs and wants. B. Unify with each other as believers around the Word of God. M stands for Mission - Matt 28:18,19 - Humility requires a mission. Our mission is to save souls. We must reach out and love others. B stands for Boldness - Acts 4:31 - Be bold and tell others the truth. We must boldly proclaim the Word of God in all it's true form, exactly how it is written. L stands for Love - Matt. 22:37, 39, 40 - You must love God, others and then finally yourself. If you do not deviate from that order and make God your first love, you will be living a true Christian life. E stands for Eternal Life - John 5:13 - You will be rewarded with eternal life through your humbleness for God. |
